Friendship Bread!

I baked my first loaf of bread this week!! A friend gave me a starter to make Amish Friendship bread. It takes 10 days total to make it. It was well worth the wait, made the house smell so good and it was so yummy!

The night I made the bread, Rory sat by it most the night hoping she might be able to get a bite:

Drive In Movie

We went to our first drive in movie last night. There was a slight problem in that the movie advertised on their webstie was not correct and we had to see Indiana Jones again but we had fun hanging out with friends and the weather was just about perfect. Hopefully we will get to back again to see a better movie.

Memorial Weekend Run Down...

Friday: Ryan got home from being out of town for a week.

Satuday: Went to our first air how it was pretty fun, here's some pics:

Saturday night we had a cookout with friends, it was BYOB, Bring Your Own Beef and we fired up the grill for traditional Memorial Day Weekend cookout.

Sunday: We went to lunch at Olive Garden with friends (I've been dying to try their new Shrimp Rigottone and it was fabulous!) Sunday night despite several warnings we went and saw Indiana Jones and it was terrible! All the warnings were correct, we went in with the lowest expectations and were still disappointed.

Monday: We slept in and went for a jog at the lake with Rory, then we went shopping all afternoon for some much needed spring/summer clothes for all. Monday night we ate yummy mexican food and rented some movies.

As always it was a great three day weekend!

Spring Cleaning Surprise...

Last week I surprised Ryan when he was out of town by cleaning out our garage! I am not sure we've cleaned it out since moving in, we just piled more and more stuff in there, so it was good to final get this checked off our spring cleaning list...

It was amazing on the inside!!

This is a picture of us us just before we went to the the spa for a couples hour long massage. It was my first massage and it was wonderful!!

Ryan got really excited at this great Italian place we ate at each table had its own cheese grader on your table.

We got back Saturday and went down town OKC to see a movie and eat dinner. Ryan rarely makes impulsive decesions but he went to buy a small popcorn and small icess but instead bought a massive bag of popcorn and Dr. Pepper that you could refills on. This picture doesn't do it justice but these were huge! We only ate half the popcorn and didn't want a refill.

Must see Movie!!

Well we spent our Friday night gorging on yummy mexican food and then watched a movie that I didn't hear much about in theaters but a friend recommended and it was GREAT! I love love loved Dan in Real Life, it was such a funny simple but moving movie. I recommend it to all, sooo refreshingly good!
