My birthday...
Well my day started pretty good and continued in getting better until night fell and then it took an ugly turn for the worse....here's 20 things about my day today:
1. Start morning by meeting AM at Gym for workout, so far so good
2. Previous night had found hidden surpise from husband so thought about that on the way to the gym. (he is out of town so he had to hide my gifts and cards)
3. Had good workout drove home thinking how good today will be.
4. Recieved several calls and emails throughout the day for birthday wishes.
5. Went to lunch with a good friend at work at one of my favorite sandwhich places.
6. Had some great sessions, feeling good about the day.
7. Feeling good after work, talked to husband and learned of another surpise hidding.
8. Went to do a little birthday shopping before meeting AM and Amy for a dessert gorging.
9. Here's where things start to go south.
10. Set down in booth, pager goes off (I am on crisis call but I have been on crisis call for months on tuesdays without having to go out, but oh tonight was the night) step outside to my car to handle the call.
11. My good friend that was my back up for crisis call helped me with the leg work, we realized we needed to do a mobile visit.
12. Finished eating dessert, took this fake happy photo beacause about everyone at the table had a bad day of sorts and I wasn't too happy to be going out on a crisis call on my birthday:
13. Realize can't find my keys, mind racing, went to car, KEYS ARE LOCKED IN CAR. (There is a really funny part of how I break this news to AM and AMY but you can ask me in person for that run down, not appropriate for public blog posting).
14. Good friend AM and AMY help me out of the Jam. AM takes me to meet my mobile crisis partner so we continue on to our crisis. (Her and Amy help get my car to my house, what great friends!!!)
15. Crisis appt is very challaneging and we are out on this call for two and half hours but had a very successful ending.
16. Good friend work Amy takes me home.
17. Arrive home, Rory throws up twice.
18. Perfect way to end the evening, cleaning up puke, its now Midnight and time for bed (but first need to vent about my night on my blog!!)
19. What can I take away from this birthday, I will never forget it, I have great friends, the world doesn't stop for birthdays and
20. Lastly, I should buy myself something really nice with extra crisis money I made tonight!

Horray for the writers strike being over...
Unless your a fan of the best commedy on TV right now you won't be able to appreciate this post but those who love it as much as me will laugh when they read this and be super excited for the return of "The Office". Friends we so need to have an Office watch party when it finally returns, mark your calanders for April 10th!!

Michael: Ladies and gentlemen, I have some bad news. Meredith was hit by a car.
Group: What? Where? When?
Michael: It happened this morning in the parking lot. I took her to the hospital and the doctors tried to save her life. They did the best that they could, and she is going to be ok.
Stanley: What is wrong with you? Why’d you have to phrase it like that?
Oscar: So she’s really going to be fine?
Michael: Yes. She has a slight pelvical fracture, but uh people have survived far worse.
Pam: Thank goodness you were there!
Michael: I know
Andy: Did you see who did it?
Dwight: No need, we can just check the security tapes.
Michael: Kind of good and bad news there. I was able to be on the scene so quickly, because I was in the car that hit her.
Jim: Who was driving?
Pam: Oh Michael.”
“Reject a woman and she will never let it go. One of the many defects of their kind. Also, weak arms.”
-Dwight Schrute
This is our receptionist, Pam. If you think she's cute now, you should have seen her a couple years ago.”
-Michael Scott
“Dwight: Where's my desk?
Jim: Where did you last see it?”
Hope this made you laugh!

My Valentine...
I traveled to the great city of Enid Oklahoma to be with my valentine this year. I really do love this holiday. So many of us forget in the day to day routeines to appreciate and do something special for our special someone. I like that this holiday reminds us to do just that.
This was waiting at work when I got there.
This is us enjoying the local cuisine in the great city of Enid.

Slumber Party!
With husbands out of town it was a great excuse to have a good old fashioned slumber party. Despite being tired the next day at work it was well worth it!

At about 1:00ish
Rory was even tired the next day!

I passed!!
After much anticipation I took my LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Exam and passed! Its offical I am now a licensed professional in my field which took bout 4 years and about 5,000 practice hours between practicum and post graduate work. I must say it feels really good to reach this goal!! This is us celebrating after we passed. We celebrated with massive amounts of food and dessert since we had hardly eaten (only Jomba Juice and Crazy bread) before the test. This is about 3:30 that afternoon tired but oh so happy!!
