100 things about me.

1. Annaleise did this on her blogg and challenged me to try this also.
2. I had fun reading her 100 things so here I go.
3. I started my blog not too long ago.
4. I am having trouble finding the blog template I like.
5. Thats why its been changing so much and will change some more
6. I love Ryan
7. I miss him when he out of town on business, which is alot lately.
8. but he calls me everyday
9. It is a big comfort to have Rory (my dog) to stay with me while he is gone.
10. Which brings me to her, I love my dog (see my post #2 for my blog)
11. I am suprised how much I enjoy and love her.
12. We plan on having kids.
13. This will fullfill life long dream for both of us.
14. I love how God planned kids:
15. Half of you and half of the love of your life.
16. I can't wait to meet our kids!
17. I am sure once I am pregnant I won't enjoy it so much, but right now I am even looking forward to that part of the process.
18. I can't wait to see Ryan hold our baby.
19. He will be a great dad.
20. I know this beacause of the way he loves and takes care of our dog, and she is just a dog.
21. But don't get your hopes up, its still not quite the right time for us to have kids yet, but I think its not far around the corner.
22. I feel like this time before we have kids, we only have once, I want to fully enjoy it and cheerish it.
23. Today is Martin Luther King Day.
24. so I am off work.
25. I have watched two specials on MLK yesterday and today.
26. It amazes me that not that long ago this country was in a intense struggle for basic civil rights for all.
27. Sometimes I worry that my generation won't contribute what the ones before us have.
28. I think about World War II, Civil Rights movements and I wonder what is it we will give to our children?
29. What will we sacrifice to make this nation and world better for those that come next?
30. I have always lived in Oklahoma.
31. I love Oklahoma, I think I probably always will live here.
32. However I love to travel.
33. I have many places I want to go and see.
34. Here is some palces I vactioned: Hawaii, Cayman Island, Cozumel, Bahammas, Cancun, San Fransisco, Scotland 4x.
35. I also went on a medical mission trip to Belize Central America when I was 16.
36. I got to swim with Sharks while I was there.
37. I always use this fact when you have to play those mixer games when you have to say two lies and a truth.
38. Here's a list of places I want to go: Italy, Africa, Australia, Greece, New York, LA, Disney world/Land (Whichever one is in Florida) DC, Cabo San Lucas, Burmuda, Florida Keys, The list could keep going and going.
39. We are planning to go to Italy towards the end of this year. (yay!)
40. I am contimplating painting my living room a yellow shade.
41. This revelation came to me after my sweet husband suprised me by taking me to the home and garden show this weekend and taking me to see the Design on a Dime desiner/host speak. (I love this show!)
42. My sister is getting married in August.
43. I am excited for her and think alot of her soon to be husband.
44. I started eating healthier again using weight watchers plan.
45. Its been two weeks and I've lost 5lbs.
46. I am a Clinical Social Worker
47. I went this route because I wanted to keep my options broad in case I ever don't want to do therapy.
48. My current position allows me to have a small case load of children and their families I see for therapy services and then I get to do Admin things, coordinating intake and screening for our clinic, etc. I like that its a mix.
49. My work doesn't pay good at all but I love it.
50. I always thought I would be stay at home mom if I could.
51. Now I think I will want to work part time.
52. I have way future plans of maybe teaching in higher education.
53. I love a good movie.
54. I love a good cheeseburger.
55. I also love a great bubble bath. (I take one at least 3 times a week in the winter)
56. Best movie I saw lately was Juno.
57. I love a watching all the special features on DVD's.
58. Three movies I really want to see right now: PS I love you, Atonement and 27 dresses.
59. I am a girl so I love a great romatic comedy,
60. Two of my favorite romantic commendy's are fever pitch and the holiday.
61. I am phobic of needles.
62. When I was 17 my took me to hypnotist to try to get me over this.
63. It did not work.
64. I know how to get over it since I am a therapist.
65. but I can't bring myself to even go through systematic desensiation to get there.
66. I get woosy when I even know they are onsite giving people flu shots at work. (I wasn't even getting one and I never even saw them).
67. I really like a good history channel special or a good documentary.
68. I love love love doctor pepper.
69. I should drink less of it.
70. As I type this I am drinking a Dr. Pepper from sonic :0)
71. I have horrible cramps in the arch of foot that attack without notice can last for several minutes. These have happened since I was in highschool.
72. The doctor can't figure out why this is happening.
73. I can't wait for summer to get here.
74. I hate being cold.
75. I feel like I am always cold.
76. As I type Rory is napping on my lap which is keeping me warm right now.
77. I wish I lived closser to an IKEA.
78. I got an OC sweatshirt for Christmas that is my new favorite thing to wear when not at work.:Its so comfy and warm!
79. I am thinking of starting a monthly contribution to the village of hope in Africa.
80. I've been wanting to support something helping the children and families in Africa for a while.
81. This orgainization is sponsored by churches of christ and
82. It has a medical facility named after my Aunt Andrea that passed away.
83. I am stilling researching it.
84. Ryan and I booked a treehouse cottage for our anniversary.
85. I am really excited about it.
86. This will be the next time off I have planed for the next 4 months or so.
87. I am confused as to why people love dancing with the stars?
88. I am also confused as to why people love cheese cake. I can't stomach it.
89. Steak is okay, but shrimp and lobster is really where its at.
90. I wish I could without much effort become a real cook.
91. I am afriad this would take a lot of effort and energy.
92. I love getting pedicures.
93. I saw a sign that a new place that opened in edmond is offering all services at 40% regular prices.
94. I was tempted to go in and get one.
95. but I am wanting us to save more $, so it felt better to pass it up today.
96. My favorite color is red, sometimes its pink.
97. I am going to change my blog template once I get done with this post.
98. This was kinda fun.
99. Tomorrow its back to work.
100. This was a nice relaxing 3 day weekend.
