Makes me happy

Lately every time I hear this new song it just makes me happy no matter where I am at. One of those catchy songs you love it the first time you hear it and are humming it all day long and you stay in the car to finish it before you get out. Its Jason Mraz's "I'm yours".

Made me think how happy I am about things like that, no matter how simple they are, those things you love from the first moment. Like friends that you click with off the bat, a great shirt or pair of shoes, falling in love with a puppy you take home, meeting my nieces when they first arrived to the world, picking up a great book you can't put down, stepping into your first home that you both love right away, first day on a job that you know was ment for what your suppose to be doing, first kiss from that person you know you will love for rest of your life, first visit to a church you know feels like home right away...

I know a lot of things in life are hard at first and worth the struggle but I love the other times when things you love and know are so good are that way from the first moment. I am currently reading "Blink" which is a book about your gut and this immediate process that take place that we should trust more than we do that tell us right away about things. Those initial responses are often crazily accurate. I love how God forms us, shapes and gives us this gifts that we get to keep unwrapping.
