July 4th 4-day weekend celebartion!

I am still enjoying my 4 day weekend. Here's a rundown of the fun so far. We did our best to celebrate in proper American style by eating excessive amounts of food, sleeping in every day, and helping the economy by buying tons of gas to drive all over the city.

Thursday, White Water with our Nieces and Jen:
Oklahoma City, Ok

Friday day: Pool party and cookout with Friends
Norman, Ok

Friday Night: Fireworks, Music and Fun with Friends
Yukon, OK

Ryan sharing his turkey leg with the dogs.
We sat a little too close this year and experienced the most terrifically terrifying firework display ever! We got rained on by firework debre and at any moment had the real possibility of catching fire but no worries we were right by a pond and could quickly put ourselves out if needed. It was like combining two holidays in one: the traditional 4th of July celebartory colorful treat for your eyes and patriotic music for your ears with the suspence and terror of Holloween!
some of the tons of stuff that was raining on us during the show:

Saturday: Take our nieces to see Wall-E
Edmond, OK

Chloe says to me today "Auntie Heather when are you going to have a baby so we can have some real cousins?" (Aparently Rory isn't cutting it anymore)
We do just love these girls!
