We checked off the first of our summer fun list with a trip to Jenks, Oklahoma today to the Oklahoma Aquarium. The fun started with a donut breakfast then a mini road trip down to Jenks.
When we got there I had one of my awesome mom moments when I realized I forgot to put on or bring any shoes for her. Snacks, check. Diapers, check. Her drink, check, toys for the road, check. emergency paci, check. Camera, check. my phone and wallet, check. Her shoes, oooops. It happens, we made it with the stroller and luckily being indoors for the day.
First Turtle feeding experience, they had carrots you put on the end of stick with a close pin on it. Ava seemed to enjoy it as did the turtles.
We went with her buddy Izzy and they both loved the shark tunnel. We enjoyed a snack time break while sharks were swimming all around us.
We wrapped up with a trip to Red Robin, Burgers for the mamma's and grilled cheese's for the girls. Then back on the road home. It was a fun day, more of summer fun list posts to come! Happy Friday!
