These Days...

**I've decided now that Ava's 2, instead of monthly milestone updates, I will start a new series just called 'these days' to capture some of the things I want to remember about these early years not only for my own mother heart but also for Ava to hopefully read one day too.**

These days the favorite bed time story is eight silly monkeys...jumping on the bed. You pick it first every night to read lately. You love to say the part about what the doctor says, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed."

Also lately at bed time you've been asking us "stay here" when we start to put you in bed. We tell you we will stay for a little bit. You were playing with your babies today and I heard you tell them you would stay for a little while and sing them one more song.

While we are on the subject of babies, since you've been old enough to tote one, they are still your favorite. I hear you talk so sweet to them, saying things like, "Whats wrong?" "Its okay sweet heart." You like to call them "sweetie" a lot too. Sometimes I hear you say "they not listen' and minding." and then they may have to spend somet time in time out. You go crazy for real babies too. We were at a play date recently with several girls your age but I notied you prefered to spend a lot of your time playing with the baby that was there. I'm really excited for you to see your new baby girl cousin due this month, cuddling and loving on her should be right up your alley.

Grandma sent you a fun package in the mail this week, matching PJs for you and baby. Thanks Grandma! We love them!
